The AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9975WX is a 32-core workstation processor built for professional workloads that need far more CPU resources, memory bandwidth and PCIe connectivity than a mainstream desktop platform provides. It is aimed at rendering, simulation, engineering, software development and other heavily threaded production environments.
The processor uses the sTR5 socket and is supported on WRX90 and TRX50 platforms, depending on the required workstation feature set. It supports eight-channel DDR5 RDIMM memory up to 6400 MT/s and ECC, giving large professional applications access to both high capacity and substantial memory bandwidth.
